AJL Business Services was founded by Barbara Gilbert and opened for business in January 2007. AJL Business Services is dedicated to providing an alternative option in filling the requirements of businesses who need executive or administrative assistance and office support on an ‘as need’ or for a certain number of hours per month on an on-going basis.
Outsourcing will reduce employer costs. AJL Business Services operates as a fully-functional virtual office with the purpose of eliminating the need by our clients of providing office space and equipment. Our priority is to provide efficient, reliable services customized to our clients’ requirements.

Barbara has over 25 years’ of corporate administrative experience in the public and private sectors working as an assistant for various levels of management. Her career experience has included opportunities in financial, property management, municipal fire services, engineering, and transportation consultant environments.
Barbara’s commitment and enjoyment in learning and upgrading her skills has led to several certifications and educational accomplishments:

- Certification in Bookkeeping
- Certification in Travel and Tourism
- Certification in Microsoft Office
- Certified Internet Marketing Specialist
