Audio Recording Quality 1: Audio recording in a digital format consisting of 1 to 4 speakers with high quality audio sound, no background noise, clearly spoken content at a volume level that provides clear playback.

Audio Recording Quality 2:  Audio recording in a digital format consisting of more than 4 speakers, thick accents; frequent interruptions; technical, scientific or medical terminology; medium to poor quality recording with muffled unclear spoken word and some interference from background noise making the recording difficult to hear and/or understand.

Verbatim Transcription Edited:  To provide a completely accurate transcript, any stutters, repetitions, incomplete or false starts, inaudible speech patterns are eliminated.  Grammar and sentence structure are edited to produce a clear readable final transcript.

Verbatim Transcription Unedited:  All wording is transcribed including stutters, repetitions, interruptions, incomplete or false starts, short responses, and specific personal comments not related to content of the discussion.

Audio recordings are transcribed using ExpressScribe from electronic formats such as WAV and MP3.  Our complete transcription services include transcription and review of original audio file for proofreading, editing and Internet research to verify spelling to ensure an accurate grammatically sound final transcription.
